Our Story
In 2022, our pilot programme put brand new school shoes on 1,200 children in Eswatini, many for the very first time. Children who once hid their feet in the classroom stood a little taller. It was a small intervention with a visible, immediate impact on dignity and confidence. That pilot proved the model works, and now we’re scaling it up.
Our Vision
We are growing from a single pilot into an annual programme reaching 10,000 children every year. Every child is individually measured for a proper fit, and every pair is sourced through a transparent, quality checked process.
7,000 in Primary School
3,000 in Secondary School
Why it Matters
Eswatini has near universal primary school attendance, but getting into school and thriving there are not the same thing. For children under real financial pressure, broken or absent shoes can mean discomfort, embarrassment, and on rainy days, a genuine barrier to getting to school at all.
The Goal
Ten thousand pairs of shoes. Ten thousand children walking into school this year a little more comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.
